Heat exchange equipment for cooling steam usually uses either water or air as the coolant. It is ancillary equipment for high-power silicon rectifiers, induction furnaces, intermediate frequency furnaces and other large electrical appliances to cool the pure steam, water-air, oil-water and oil-air cooling devices of the protection machine.
Cooling steam to desirable temperature will not only heat the air, but recover the waste heat in steam as well, improving the performance efficiency of the entire unit.
More or less, there will be condensed water coming out of the high pressure steam. And it explains the necessity of a water drain.
