Food Grade PHE Plate Heat Exchanger
is useful tool for the cooling of process oil and production oil in food industry. Generally connected to a water chiller, such heat exchanger introduces cooling water and hot oil to perform the heat exchanging and transferring inside a plate pack. Special gasket design between plates prohibits the two fluids from mixing with each other.
For high viscosity fluids like ice-cream, we can also increase plate spacing to 8mm-10mm for a better flow while maintaining a proper pressure drop.
