Introduction of floating heat heat exchanger


One end of the tube plate at both ends of the floating head heat exchanger is not connected with the shell. The end is called the floating head.When the pipe is heated, the tube bundle together with the floating head can be freely telescopic along the axial direction, completely eliminating the temperature difference stress.


One end of the floating head heat exchanger tube plate and the shell is fixed, and the other end of the tube plate can float freely in the shell, shell and tube bundle is free to expand, so when the temperature difference between the two media is large, there is no temperature stress between the tube bundle and the shell.The floating head end is designed with a detachable structure so that the tube bundle can be easily inserted or extracted from the housing.(can also be designed to be non-detachable).This provides convenience for maintenance and cleaning.But the structure of the heat exchanger is more complex, and the small cap at the floating end can not know the leakage situation during operation.Therefore, special attention should be paid to its sealing during installation.
