Plates are specially used to isolate the medium and heat transfering elements in plate type. Together with the plate heat exchanger gaskets, they form the core of the plate heat exchanger. The quality of the plates affects the overall performance and working conditions of the plate type.

Application Example

Plate heat exchanger in the closed circulating cooling water system, cooling water and cooling water on both sides of the corrugated plate convection, the use of herringword corrugated, the heat transfer plate corrugated oblique, that is, in the adjacent heat transfer plate has the same tilt Angle and different directions of corrugated.  The cross-sectional area is constant along the direction of flow, but changes in the direction of flow can lead to turbulence.  

The ripple depth of the general heat exchange plate is 3 ~ 5mm, and the flow rate in the turbulent area is about 0.1 ~ 1.0m/s. The ripple plate is very thin, with a thickness of 0.5 ~ 1 mm. There are many contact points between the adjacent plates.  In the turbulent flow and heat exchange at the same time to promote the elimination of fatigue fracture caused by internal leakage.
