What tests need to be completed before the HE leaves the factory?

The hydrostatic test should be done for the plate heat exchanger before use.

Steps:

1、Check whether the clamping size meets the nameplate requirements.

2、Prepare the blind plate and test pressure device, the pressure gauge can be installed on the test pressure device.

3、The air in the equipment should be fully discharged

4、According to the design pressure 1.25 times (or the nameplate given by the hydraulic test pressure) for a single side test pressure to determine whether there is leakage to the empty side of the plate heat exchanger. Hold pressure for 30 minutes without leakage for qualified.

5、The blind plate should be removed after the test.
