The brazed plate heat exchanger is an evolution of the detachable heat exchanger, where the sealing material is changed from rubber gasket to copper or nickel and all plates are bonded together with copper or nickel solder. Just as all contact points of a detachable heat exchanger plate must be tightly fitted, all contact points of a brazed heat exchanger must be completely welded together to ensure the highest heat transfer efficiency and pressure resistance, as well as the best service life.
