This system is installed on the shield machine and cools the tunnel ventilation airflow before it enters the secondary fan system. As a result, the cooled air is transported from the outlet of the secondary ventilation system to the construction work surface.
During summer time, the air outlet temperature can reach 20°C, which is 10-12°C lower than the maximum temperature in a normal environment and makes a cool feeling for construction work.
