Application and Function
Spiral plate heat exchangers are primarily used for heat exchange during the deodorization stage of oil refining; they serve as critical equipment for heat recovery between high-temperature deodorized oil and the incoming oil awaiting deodorization.
Operating Principles and Parameters
Temperature range: High-temperature deodorized oil typically enters at 240–250°C and cools to 120–130°C after heat exchange; incoming oil is heated from 100–110°C to 220–230°C.
Operating pressure: 0.6–0.9 MPa
Material: Typically constructed from S30408 stainless steel
Flow design: Cold and hot oil streams flow in opposite directions in a spiral pattern.
