Plate and Shell Compressed Air Cooler
The plate and shell heat exchanger consists of two parts: the pressure vessel shell and the heat transfer plate bundle, which are welded together in parallel and installed longitudinally in the shell.
Air heat recovery and recycling applications
The high temperature humid air produced by the biodigester is cooled by circulating heated water at one level (heat absorption), cooled water at two levels (cooling), chilled water at three levels (dehumidification), intermediate gas-liquid separation, and circulating hot water reheating at four levels to return to temperature. The heated circulating hot water is passed through the lithium bromide unit to produce chilled water or direct heating; meanwhile the water in the air in the cooler condenses into water to achieve the purpose of drying air.

Continuous condensate drainage to improve air dryness.
minimal compressed air pressure loss; visual level observation.
Heat exchanger bundle can be withdrawn for inspection; made of all stainless steel.
