The Principle of TCU
If the medium in the reactor needs to be heated, cold heat-conducting oil is heated through the steam heater and then enters the jacket of the reactor to provide heat. It is circulated and heated to the target temperature by a magnetic pump.
When the medium in the reactor reaches the predetermined temperature, it needs to be kept at a constant temperature. When the exothermic reaction occurs, the reaction heat needs to be removed quickly. The heat-conducting oil quickly controls the ratio of the flow into the heater and cooler through the regulating valve to ensure that the temperature of the material in the reactor can be stable and constant in the set temperature range.
After the reaction of the mediums in the reactor is finished, if the mediums need to be cooled, the hot heat-conducting oil is cooled by the cooler and then transported to the jacket to cool the mediums. It is cooled to the target temperature by magnetic pump circulation.
During the whole process, the jacket of the reactor is always in contact with only heat-conducting oil, and the temperature is raised/lowered smoothly to avoid the phenomenon of bursting aggregation or rigid kettle, which ensures the long-term stable operation of the reactor.
