1. Categorized according to the refrigeration method:
- Compression chiller: use the compressor to compress the refrigerant into a high-temperature and high-pressure gas, and then cooled into a high-pressure liquid through the condenser heat dissipation, and then through the expansion valve so that it expands into a low-temperature and low-pressure gas, and finally through the evaporator to absorb heat to complete the refrigeration process.
- Absorption chiller: Utilizing the absorber to absorb and release the refrigerant to complete the refrigeration process by heating and cooling.
- Magnetic Levitation Chiller: Utilizes magnetic levitation technology to achieve contactless operation, which reduces mechanical loss and noise and improves efficiency and reliability.
2. Categorized according to usage:
- Air-conditioning chiller: mainly used in air-conditioning systems of large commercial buildings, office buildings, hotels and other places to provide cold water for the air-conditioning system.
- Industrial chiller: mainly used for cooling in industrial production, cooling water circulation, electroplating, plastic processing, printing, medicine and other fields.
- Medical chiller: mainly used in hospital operating rooms, ICU, wards and other places to provide cooling and refrigeration services for medical equipment and patients.
3. Categorized according to refrigerant:
- Freon refrigerant chiller: Utilizing chemical substances such as Freon as refrigerant, it has the advantages of high refrigeration efficiency and large refrigeration capacity, but it has certain pollution to the environment.
- Environmentally friendly refrigerant chiller: using environmentally friendly refrigerants such as R134a, R407c, etc. as refrigerants, with the advantages of environmental protection and energy saving.
4. Categorized according to structure:
- Air-cooled chiller: emits heat into the air through a fan, suitable for places with large installation space.
- Water-cooled chiller: heat is emitted into the water through water cooler, suitable for places with smaller installation space, but additional water cooling system is required.
