Heat Exchanger in the Drying System

Sep 21, 2023 Leave a message

The role of heat exchanger in the drying system is to transfer heat from the heat source to the object to be dried through conduction, convection or radiation to evaporate or dehumidify it.

The operation principle of heat exchanger mainly includes the following steps:

1. Heat supply: heat source (such as steam, gas or electric heater) to provide heat, so that the heat exchanger within the working medium (such as air or water) warming.

2. Working medium flow: the working medium flows inside the heat exchanger and transfers heat to the dried object by contacting the object to be dried.

3. Heat transfer: Heat is transferred from the working medium to the object to be dried by conduction, convection or radiation, causing its temperature to rise.

4. Moisture Discharge: After evaporation or dehumidification of the moisture in the object to be dried, the moisture is discharged through the ventilation system.

Through these steps, the heat exchanger can provide heat and accelerate the dehumidification process of the object to be dried, to achieve efficient drying effect.
