Temperature control

Incubation period

The incubator temperature should be maintained at 37.5°C to 37.8°C (99.5°F to 100°F).

Hatching period

The hatcher temperature should be slightly lower, maintained at 37.2°C to 37.5°C (99°F to 99.5°F).

Stability

Temperature fluctuations should be controlled within ±0.1°C to avoid affecting embryonic development.

Humidity control

Incubation period

Relative humidity should be maintained at 50% to 55%.

Hatching period

Relative humidity should be increased to 65% to 70% to facilitate hatching of chicks.

Stability

Humidity fluctuations should be controlled within ±5% to ensure normal embryonic development.

Air quality requirements

Ventilation

The hatchery needs to have a good ventilation system to ensure air circulation and avoid carbon dioxide accumulation.

Oxygen concentration

The oxygen concentration should be maintained at 19.5% to 20.5%.

Carbon dioxide concentration

The carbon dioxide concentration should be less than 0.5% to avoid affecting embryonic development.

Air quality

Regularly monitor air quality to prevent the accumulation of harmful gases such as ammonia and hydrogen sulfide.

Other precautions

Cleaning and disinfection

The hatchery should be cleaned and disinfected regularly to prevent the growth of pathogenic microorganisms.

Equipment maintenance

Regularly check and maintain the hatching equipment to ensure its normal operation.

Record management

Detailed records of temperature, humidity, ventilation and other data are kept for easy traceability and analysis.
