The Synergistic Effect Of Heat Exchanger And Cooling Tower

Sep 15, 2023 Leave a message

Heat exchangers and cooling towers are used together in refrigeration systems. The role of the heat exchanger is to transfer the heat absorbed by the refrigerant when it evaporates in the evaporator to the cooling water, so that the cooling water is warmed up and the refrigerant becomes a low-temperature, low-pressure gas.

The function of the cooling tower is to spray the warmed up cooling water onto the packing layer through the spraying device, so that the water and the air are in full contact, thus the heat in the water is transferred to the air and the water is cooled down. The air in the cooling tower is drawn in by the fan, passes through the packing layer and then comes into contact with the cooling water and is then discharged.

In this way, through the synergistic effect of heat exchanger and cooling tower, the refrigerant in the refrigeration system can continuously circulate and flow, so as to achieve the purpose of cooling.
