What is the refrigerationn equipment?

Refrigeration equipment is commonly used in homes, businesses and industries to reduce the temperature of the environment or substances. These cooling systems are designed to remove heat from an area by absorption or compression to produce a cooling effect. There are various types of refrigeration equipment on the market, each designed to meet specific cooling needs. It is mainly composed of a compressor, an expansion valve, an evaporator, a condenser and accessories, and pipes.

Cooling Methods

1. Direct cooling is to install the evaporator of the refrigerator in the box or building of the refrigeration device, and use the evaporation of the refrigerant to directly cool the air therein, and rely on the cold air to cool the object to be cooled. The advantages of this cooling method are fast cooling speed, small heat transfer temperature difference, and a relatively simple system, so it is widely used.

2. Indirect cooling relies on the evaporation of the refrigerant in the evaporator of the refrigerator to cool the refrigerant (such as brine), and then the refrigerant is input into the box or building of the refrigeration device to cool the air therein through a heat exchanger. This cooling method has a slow cooling speed, a large total heat transfer temperature difference, and a complex system, so it is only used in a few occasions, such as brine ice making and cold storage with constant temperature requirements.

Functions of Refrigeration Equipment

1. Cooling: In the design and manufacture of air conditioners, the temperature is generally allowed to be controlled between 16 and 32°C.

2. Dehumidification: The air conditioner has a dehumidification effect during the refrigeration process. The relative humidity of the environment that people feel comfortable should be around 40-60%.

3. Heating: Both heat pump and electric heating air conditioners have a heating function. The heating capacity gradually decreases as the outdoor ambient temperature drops. If the temperature is -5°C, it can hardly meet the heating requirements.

4. Purify the air: The air contains a certain amount of harmful gases such as NH3, SO2, etc., as well as various odors such as sweat, body odor, and bathroom odor. Air conditioner purification methods include: fresh air replacement, filtration, adsorption and absorption using activated carbon or photocatalysts, etc.
