Develop zero-carbon raw material/fuel substitution technologies such as biomass utilization, ammonia energy utilization, waste recycling, non-fluorinated gas utilization, energy recovery and utilization. Develop zero-carbon industrial process reengineering technologies for key industries such as iron and steel, chemical industry, building materials, petrochemicals, and non-ferrous metals.


Negative carbon technology


Negative carbon economy is an economic way that takes the absorption and transformation of carbon dioxide as the main form, so that the emission of carbon dioxide, the main greenhouse gas, can be effectively controlled.


Strengthen carbon negative emission technology innovation such as carbon dioxide geological utilization, efficient conversion of carbon dioxide into fuel chemicals, direct air carbon dioxide capture, and biochar soil improvement.


Research the synergistic relationship between carbon negative emission technologies and climate change mitigation and adaptation, and lead the construction of an ecologically safe negative emission technology system.


Tackle the core difficulties of carbon sequestration technologies, strengthen the upgrading of carbon sequestration technologies in forests, grasslands, wetlands, oceans, soils and permafrost, and enhance the carbon sink of ecosystems.
