Gasket Heat Exchanger
The plate thickness of the plate type is only 0.4~1.2mm, and the thickness of the tube of shell and tube type is 2.0~2.5mm. The shell is much heavier than the frame of the plate heat exchanger, and the plate type is generally only 1/5 of the weight of the shell and tube type.
Low price, easy to customize
Using the same material, under the same heat transfer area, the price of plate type is about 40%~60% lower than shell & tube type. Plate is the use of stamping processing, high degree of standardization, and can be mass production.
Easy to clean
As long as the frame type loosens the compression bolt, the plate bundle can be loosened and the plate can be removed for mechanical cleaning, which is very convenient for the heat transfer process of the equipment that needs to be cleaned frequently. Even part of the all-welded heat exchanger due to its special structure of equipment, can also do on-site mechanical cleaning.
