Tube And Tube Condenser
Product Introduction
Condensers can be divided into three categories according to their cooling media: water-cooled, air-cooled and evaporative. The common condenser is water-cooled one, which uses water as the cooling medium and relies on the temperature rise of water to take away the heat of condensation. The cooling water is generally recycled, but the system needs to be equipped with a cooling tower or cooling pool. Water-cooled condensers can be divided into shell-and-tube condensers and casing condensers according to their structural forms, and the former is more common.

Characteristics

Horizontal shell and tube condenser
It has a similar shell structure to the vertical condenser, but the main difference lies in the horizontal placement of the shell and the multi-way flow of water. General multi-passes condenser using horizontal condenser.
The condenser is a component of the refrigeration system and is a type of heat exchanger that converts gas or vapor into liquid and transfers the heat from the tube to the air near the tube in a rapid manner. Condenser working process is an exothermic process, so the condenser temperature are higher.
Application
Many condensers are used in power plants to condense the vapors from turbines.
In refrigeration plants, condensers are used to condense refrigerant vapors such as ammonia and Freon.
In the petrochemical industry, condensers are used to condense hydrocarbons and other chemical vapors. In distillation, the device that converts the vapor to a liquid state is also called a condenser.
