How does the Spiral PHE works?
If both the two media are liquid, so they need to flow in a counter-flow manner, along the spiral flow channel flow in the opposite direction of each other, so that the two fluid media always maintain a certain temperature difference between the two fluid media, so as to achieve a good heat transfer effect.
If one media is a liquid, the other is a gas, then they are in the spiral plate heat exchanger to flow in the wrong way, that is, the liquid in the heat exchanger along the spiral direction of flow, while the gas along the heat exchanger axial direct passage, which is mainly due to the characteristics of the gas, gas generally requires a large flow, resistance, or is used for steam condensation, so generally do not let the gas flow along the spiral direction.
