Air Heat Exchanger's Maintenance and Replacement (1)

The most common question we've ever met are blocking, leaking and low efficiency.

When it comes to the reasons, it mainly depends on the heat transfer mediums. That's because in an air heat exchanger, the fluid's flowing speed and temperaure has a great impact on the device. It's easy to understand the flowing speed, but how about the temperature? As there's a great possibility that our mediums are not pure water or the similar kinds, the fluids can be some complex medium with their own features. And the tube's surface temperature will greatly influence chemical and salt scaling. In general, the influence will increase as the temperature rises.

The heat exchanger's material is also an important factor, for example, carbon tube is easier to be corroded than stainless steel. When it suffers corrosion, it will get rusty quickly with fouling following . In addition, the material's surface also couldn't be ignored, especially the surface smothness. Thus, when we're choosing materials those far impacts should also be carefully considered.

In addition, the welding technique is not up to standard in many leakage problem. If you find the heat transfer efficiency becomes much lower than the beginning, apart from the above reasons, a possible cause is fan failure.
