Actually, it becomes much easier to find a solution after we figure out the reasons. For blocking problems, we need to clean the tubes and fins as well. This may need some detergent which has strong corrosivity so we should do a comprehensive secure measure before the job to protect us from getting hurt.
When leakage occurs, we need to take a whole inspection of the equipment at first and find out the substandard welding. For those common leak spots, we can take measures such as welding the leak spot, repairing the leak or pluging the tube.
As for low efficiency problem, if it's caused by the fan, we need to clean the fan at first then check fins and draught fan to see if there's a problem. Then we can decide to change the broken tubes or replace the whole equipment.
Although the fouling coefficient of air heat exchanger is low, we still need to maintance it in our daily usage for better performance.Regular check and cleaning will definitely increase the efficiency and prolong its lifetime.
