Chilled water transfers the cooling capacity of the air-conditioning system into the room through pipes and water pumps, and then exchanges it to the space by the room’s fan coil. Simply put, chilled water is a means of transportation that transfers the cooling capacity from the air-conditioning machine room to the room where it is used.
Brazed Plate Heat Exchanger in Aircon Cooling System
Cooling water is a large amount of heat generated by the air conditioner in the cooling process through the pipeline. The water pump is sent to the outdoor cooling tower for cooling, that is, the cooling water is the transportation tool that sends the heat generated by the host out of the outdoor.
Condensate is the cold condensed water generated from the air by the room fan coil during the heat and cold exchange, and has nothing to do with the water in the system.
Chilled water/cooling water/condensate water can be put together to understand, respectively in the water system:
1. The host and terminal exchange heat through chilled water → chilled water-cooling water in the evaporator.
2. The main engine and the cooling tower pass through the cooling water heat exchange → cooling water-cooling condenser water.
3. The terminal air treatment equipment will produce condensed water after receiving the cold and heat of the chilled water and heat exchange with the indoor air.
Refrigerant: ——The following is to collectively refer to refrigerant and refrigerant as refrigerant (for relevant courseware, please click the text in this row)
In refrigeration and air-conditioning systems, a working fluid used to transfer heat energy to produce a freezing effect. According to the working mode, it can be divided into primary (Primary) refrigerant and secondary (Secondary) refrigerant. According to the classification of material properties, it can be divided into natural (Natural) refrigerant and synthetic (Synthetic) refrigerant.
Ideal refrigerant: non-toxic, non-explosive, non-corrosive to metals and non-metals, non-burning, easy to detect when leaking, chemically stable, non-destructive to lubricating oil, relatively latent heat of evaporation, and harmless to the environment.
