In the refining process of edible oil, heat exchangers are required to heat or cool the edible oil in multiple steps.

For example, in the deodorization stage, we need to transport the undeodorized edible oil at about 100°C to the deodorization tower and heat it to about 230°C with steam for deodorization. In order to save energy and improve efficiency, we can use heat exchangers, which have two main advantages. First, not only can the deodorized high-temperature edible oil be used to preheat the undeodorized edible oil, but the deodorization tower can use less steam to operate; second, the deodorized edible oil can also be preliminarily cooled.
