Welding is a common joining method used to connect the various components of a heat exchanger. When welding the heat exchanger, you need to pay attention to the following points:

  • Welding methods: Commonly used welding methods include manual arc welding, gas-shielded welding, plasma welding, etc. Selection of the appropriate welding method depends on the type of material, thickness and welding requirements.
  • Welding materials: It is very important to choose suitable welding materials. Commonly used welding materials include welding wire, welding rod and flux. According to the material of the heat exchanger and working conditions, select the appropriate welding material.
  • Welding position: When welding the heat exchanger, you need to pay attention to the choice of welding position. Ensure that the welding position is clean, flat, and easy to operate.
  • Welding parameters: Welding parameters include welding current, voltage, welding speed and so on. According to the welding material and heat exchanger requirements, adjust the appropriate welding parameters to ensure welding quality.
  • Welding quality inspection: after welding is completed, quality inspection is required. Commonly used inspection methods include visual inspection, ray detection, ultrasonic testing and so on. Ensure that the quality of welded joints meet the requirements.
