Guangdong recently announced its foreign trade data for the first three quarters of this year, and the effect of its foreign trade stabilization policy has continued to show up, and its trade with ASEAN has grown well.

According to the Guangdong Branch of the General Administration of Customs, in the first three quarters, Guangdong's imports and exports to ASEAN were 773.74 billion yuan, an increase of 8.8%, and ASEAN was its largest trading partner.

Affected by the new crown epidemic, Guangdong's foreign trade dropped sharply in the first quarter, stabilized and recovered in the second quarter, and showed a comprehensive rebound in the third quarter.
According to the statistics of the Guangdong Branch of the Customs, in the first three quarters, Guangdong's foreign trade imports and exports were 5.08 trillion yuan, down 1.6% from the same period last year (the same below), accounting for 22% of China's total imports and exports during the same period. Among them, in September, Guangdong's imports and exports amounted to 699.09 billion yuan, an increase of 10.2%.

From the perspective of scale, in the first three quarters, the scale of Guangdong's foreign trade imports and exports climbed quarter by quarter, with a month-on-month growth rate of over 20%, and its proportion in the country has been increasing, respectively, 20.8%, 22% and 22.8%. In terms of growth rate, in the first three quarters, the growth rates of Guangdong's imports and exports were -11.7%, -3%, and 8.2%.
