At the 2020 Shanghai International Data Center Industry Exhibition held this year, an international energy efficiency solution provider presented its green data center solutions.

The program is mainly composed of two parts: a magnetic levitation cold water system and a direct expansion air conditioning solution. The air conditioning and cooling system can be modified to greatly reduce the power and water consumption of the data center; at the same time, heat recovery technology can be used to generate the data center. The waste heat is recovered and used in urban heating and other fields, through industry coupling to realize the transformation of waste into treasure, cost reduction and efficiency increase.

It is understood that this green data center solution has been successfully applied in many global applications. For example, after Lenovo's two data centers in the United States adopted its compressors, heat exchangers, and frequency converters, they reduced power consumption by 90%, water consumption by 80%, and operating costs were greatly reduced. In Denmark, a data center applied heat recovery technology. By recovering the exhaust heat of the data center, and using renewable energy to generate high-temperature hot water, it provided heating for 6,900 residents in the community, fully realizing economic, social and environmental benefits.
