WATER CHILLER
Water chiller is an essential component in the plastic injection molding process, designed to maintain optimal temperatures for both the mold and hydraulic oil system.
The chiller pump circulates chilled water through mold to rapidly cool the molten plastic, ensuring consistent product quality, reducing cycle times, and preventing defects like warping or sink marks.
While it also cools hydraulic oil used in the injection machine, preventing overheating and ensuring smooth operation, a proper selection of water chiller would extend lifespan of the hydraulic system and reduces maintenance costs.
