Application scenarios: Sterilization of liquid beverages such as milk, fruit juice, and beer.
Advantages:
Efficient heat transfer: Utilizing turbulent flow (achieved through baffles), it can raise the liquid temperature to 71-73°C in a very short time and maintain it for 15 seconds, followed by rapid cooling. This "instantaneous sterilization" maximizes the preservation of the beverage's flavor and nutritional components.
Hygienic safety: The sealed structure of plates and rubber gaskets (compared to welded joints in shell-and-tube heat exchangers) is easier to clean, reducing dead zones and bacterial growth, and complying with food hygiene standards.
